Baku is becoming host for many big events. After COP 29 in
2024, Baku will be hosting another world famous UN event in 2026: World
Urban Forum 13.
Here, on this article, we are not going to talk about the World
Ubran Forum 13, but what the attendances should expect regarding to
accommodation and transport services.
The previous event, World Urban Forum 12 was held in Egypt.
The event had 37,000 registered attendees from 182 countries. Over 24,000
people attended in person and total participants break the record with 63,000.
Baku expects more attendances and participants for World
Urban Forum 13. As a result, Baku hotels hold their booking systems and
currently not accepting reservations.
Formula 1 Baku Grand Prix, which is one of the biggest, is
usually makes all the hotels to be full. During COP29 event in Baku, again, all
hotels became full in Baku. If we also consider that World Urban forum will
also be a big event, we expect it to be more challenging for all to find the
perfect accommodation.
According to journalist research, during World Urban Forum
12, Although the government set a price range for the hotels in Sharm Al Sheikh
and some people even made the reservations long time ago, they faced with the
problem of mandatory extra payments during the check in times.
