AZAL Expands Route Network with New Direct Flights from Baku to Ahmedabad
Azerbaijan's national carrier, AZAL, is further expanding its route network by launching direct, regular flights between Baku and Ahmedabad, one of India's largest and most vibrant cities.
The airline states the first flight will be on July 4. Flights along the Baku–Ahmedabad–Baku route will operate four times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
Ahmedabad, rich in historical heritage and present-day vibrancy, offers visitors an intriguing blend of ancient monuments, cultural heritage, and religious diversity. Its old city is famous for its indoctrinated monuments, whereas the modern city boasts its towering skyscrapers, lively shopping centers, and rapidly developing infrastructure.
Currently, AZAL operates regular flights to two other major cities of India — Mumbai and New Delhi. Flights on the Baku–Mumbai–Baku route are now operating four times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays — and starting from June 16, the daily flights on this route will be provided.
In addition, Baku–New Delhi flights operate three times a week, flying on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Tickets can be bought on AZAL's official website, mobile app, ticket offices, and approved travel agencies.
