In general, Gabala
can be considered as more expensive destination. Not only hotels, also
restaurants are more expensive in Gabala. Hence, we can tell that Gabala is more expensive in Summer, in terms
of general rates, especially in summer. Guba, however, is getting more popular
because of Shahdag Ski Resort in Winter period. The restaurants and hotels in
Shahdag area are having double rates

For those who is going to Gabala with a car, they can have several

Road Conditions:
Already 2 years, the main road to Gabala is under
construction. Currently, the distance from Baku to Gabala is 220 km, while distance
Baku to Guba is 170 KM. however, as the main road to Gabala is under
construction, it becomes extra 70 KM, which means total 290 KM. it makes it very difficult to make a day trip
to Gabala. However, you can have a day trip to Guba.
Visitors can also have the chance of enjoying unforgettable train

On the other side, there is no train option for Guba, Gusar

Heritage Sites
Both of the regions has an advantage of unique experiences!
While going to Gabala, on the way, you can turn to Lahij Village. In 2015, Copper
craftsmanship of Lahij has been included by UNESCO into the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of
Humanity. While visiting Lahij, you will yourself in middle ages.
After Guba, people can visit Khinalig village, which is on the top of mountains, 2180 meters
above sea level. The mysterious village has their own language and culture. The
nature is astonishing. The village and its surrounding "Köç Yolu" Transhumance
Route landscape were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site
during the 45th UNESCO World Heritage Committee.
