Baku Zoo

Baku Zoo is the first national zoo in Azerbaijan! Here, you can discover a variety of wild and endangered animals and birds, as well as an amazing collection of flora. The zoo is home to about 850 animals.

Next to the zoo, you can enjoy a beautiful lake view. The Pink Flamingo, one of the many wild birds here, has become the symbol of the zoo. For each animal, you can see their name and country of origin. The zoo features animals from Africa, Australia, and South America.

We suggest you to visit this Zoo at least for 3 hours , because its area is pretty big.

The Zoo is in Baku city, Narimanov area, Bakikhanov street 29. (Close to Ganjlik Metro Station)

Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 09:00 - 17:30

How To Get There:

1. By the metro: (Ganjlik station) – 60 qepik;

2.  By the bus: (bus numbers 79, 33, 26) – 60 qepik;
3.  By the taxi: from Torgovy (Nizami street) – ‘’+ -“ 8 AZN.
