What is guest house?

Guest house is a building that provides temporary accommodation. It is traditionally a small, privately owned homestead that rents out its rooms at a daily rate. The concept of guest house is common in the south

Generally there are two variations of paying guest house:

1. Home converted guest house;

2. Professionally run guest house with all necessary amenities and staff

1. In the first version of the guest house the family can get shelter and food (bed and breakfast) only and for rest of the jobs like washing of clothes and utensils, cleaning of room or area around their bed is to be done by the themselves.It is used like a private home which has been converted for the exclusive use of lodging.
